Hastings Group (“Hastings”, the “Group”) has published its fourth annual Sustainability Report outlining progress made against the Group’s sustainability agenda and the continued support to colleagues, customers and communities throughout 2023.
Colleagues, all play a critical role in helping the Group achieve its sustainability goals through day to day actions for its customers and communities it serves. Hastings has really started to gain momentum delivering a number of initiatives that contribute positively to its sustainability agenda
Highlights include:
Toby van der Meer, Hastings CEO said “This year has been challenging for many, due to increased costs and financial pressures. We have worked hard to provide greater practical help and solutions to support our customers, aligned with our goal of providing a simple and straightforward service.
I’m particularly proud of our quick decision making in response to the Luton Airport fire and the extra support we provided affected customers. That we have been certified a CarbonNeutral® company for the fourth year and that our inclusive culture has been recognised again this year, in the Top 50 UK Inclusive Employers list, where we were the highest recognised insurance provider.
I am grateful for all Hastings colleagues that continue to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and communities, ensuring we remain on track to achieve our goals for a sustainable, better tomorrow and I’m looking forward to what we can achieve together in 2024.”
