Kids will have a more eggciting time this Easter thanks to A Helping Hand from local insurance broker Hastings Direct to the Children's Activities Newmarket.

Hastings Direct's A Helping Hand makes financial, professional and physical support available to the local community. Each month Hastings is able to offer either professional support from its 1,700+ staff, or physical support with team building days. In addition, Hastings has made a small monthly grant available to support local funding.

More eggcitement this Easter for local kids thanks to Hastings Direct

Children's Activities Newmarket wanted to be able to stage more local events for young people during school holidays and asked Hastings Direct for £300 to be able to offer a climbing wall event, archery and dancing this Easter.

Simon Wheeler, volunteer event organiser, Children's Activities Newmarket: "It's fantastic to see a local company investing in groups such as ours. The money donated from Hastings Direct's' A Helping Hand will go towards activities which both entertain and help build confidence".

Jay Wootten, community liaison, Hastings Direct: "It's great to see that this money will be used to make the lives of local children more fun and more active."

If you know of a local organisation in need of A Helping Hand, please email jaywootten@hastingsdirect.comwith details of your organisation and how we may be able to assist.
