Staff from Bexhill's largest employer, Hastings Direct, has just raised £1,200 for Charity for Kids.
Each year Hastings Direct asks its staff for feedback on how the company is performing and how they feel about working for the company — for each response received, the company makes a donation to charity.
Charity for Kids helps disabled, sick and terminally ill children and their families. The charity has used this donation to help kit out a caravan used for respite holidays with all the creature comforts — everything from a kettle to a television, so that families feel it as a real home away from home during their stay.
