Hastings Direct raises £13,000 for Charity for Kids

Hastings Direct has donated £13,000 as part of colleague's efforts throughout the summer to support one of their charity partners for 2015 — Charity for Kids.

Staff at its head office in Bexhill has been competing in a range of sports since June with all proceeds, along with monies raised at a recent awards night, being donated to the charity.

Jay Wootten, community liaison at Hastings Direct said, "The summer of sport has been a real team effort and colleagues have competed in a range of events to raise money to help make a difference. We are delighted to have raised this amount which we know will make a huge difference."

Paul Harris, CEO of Charity for Kids said "Thank you to Hastings Direct for this superb donation, which will be used to support the applications we receive from local families in need. As a local charity made up purely of volunteers, we rely on fundraising effort like this to support the work we do."
