Colleagues at Hastings Direct came together last week to raise over £5,000 for this year’s Red Nose Day fundraising appeal.

As well as cake and samosa sales, face painting and a raffle, Bexhill colleagues also nominated each other to receive a gunging all in the name of charity. CEO Gary Hoffman even got in on the action when he received a soaking early on Friday morning.

Colleague Bradley McNaughton also cycled 31 miles from Bexhill to Brighton dressed as a potato, to raise money for the charitable cause!

Jay Wootten, Hastings Direct Events and Community Relations Manager, said, “It was great to see our teams pull out all the stops to raise lots of money for this year’s Comic Relief appeal. The biggest highlight for all was the gunging and soaking of many colleagues, including our CEO Gary Hoffman, as well as the cake sales that everyone enjoys at Hastings Direct!’
